What it was
JingleGoat was a 2024 swing at an AI music platform focused specifically on the jingle: short, sticky, brand-led pieces of audio that small businesses historically couldn't afford. A custom jingle used to mean hiring a composer, a vocalist, and a studio for thousands of dollars. JingleGoat made it possible to spin one up in minutes — and built a public, searchable library of generated work that anyone could browse and license.
What was built
- AI-generated jingles from brand prompts and style tags
- Searchable public library of jingles by genre, mood, and use case
- Custom jingle requests for businesses with specific briefs
- Audio preview, download, and licensing flow
- Disclaimer-aware generation so brand mentions stayed on the right side of trademark and likeness rules
Technologies
Status
JingleGoat shipped right as the AI music space exploded — and got swamped almost immediately by much better-resourced players (Suno, Udio, and the rest). Without a real wedge against them, the project was wound down. The brand and catalogue of generated work are preserved.
