What it was

FoodRaptor launched in 2016 as a Detroit‑based delivery service spanning food, groceries, and general products. The bet was that the national delivery players were chasing dense coastal markets and leaving large parts of the Midwest underserved — restaurants, corner stores, and customers all wanted a delivery option that actually showed up. FoodRaptor ran a local fleet, a web ordering experience, and native mobile apps to fill that gap.
